Free Tasting of New Zealand Wines to Kick Off Your Weekend
Five things to know today.

Today is Friday, July 26. Here are five things to know:
1) Afternoon showers
Looks like we could get some more rain today. According to the National Weather Service we can expect rain with a chance of thunderstorms possible this afternoon. Otherwise cloudy with a high near 74 degrees. It will also be windy with gusts as high as 26 miles per hour.
2) Concert at Mount Hope
Enjoy a relaxing date night at Mount Hope's The Music Cafe in Friday today starting at 7:30 p.m. Listen to recording artists Jonas Woods (www.jonaswoods.net) and Tom Conlon (www.tomconlonmusic.com). $5 includes all drinks and desserts. Click here for more information.
3) Wine tasting
Busa Wine & Spirits is holding a tasting of the New Zealand wine Oyster Bay from 4 to 7 p.m. today. "The winemakers at Oyster Bay want to share the unique attributes, quality and style of their wines with you," the event notice states. Taste the Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and the very famous Sauvignon Blanc.
4) Sharpie tie-dye
The Burlington Public Library is holding a program on how to do sharpie tie-dye at 2:30 p.m. today for students in grades 2-5. Please bring your own shirt, pillow case, or anything else you want to tie-dye. Please no towels as they do not tie-dye very well.
5) Post your events to Woburn Patch
Have an upcoming yard sale, fundraiser or other event? Post it to Burlington Patch and share it with the community. It could also end up in our daily "Five Things to Know Today" column. Click here to see our calendar and add your event.
