Here's Why Dylan Was Shouted Out As A Burlington Star Student
Dylan recently achieved the rank of Eagle scout and has helped his fellow scouts along the way.

BURLINGTON, MA — Star Students are found in classrooms, on concert and theater stages and at debate lecterns, and out in the community doing good things to make life better for all of us.
Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize Star Students, and we’re working to tell the stories of these outstanding kids to their neighbors.
This submission comes from John Lynch who nominated Dylan of Burlington, Massachusetts.

Why do you believe the star local student should be recognized?
Dylan is a multi talented young man. He recently earned the rank of Eagle Scout, which is a feat upon itself, but along his journey he has remained a great influence and offered so much assistance to younger Scouts, so that each of them, boys and girls, can also grow as Scouts and citizens. Dylan’s Eagle Project consisted of planning, fundraising, managing and building five picnic tables (one being ADA compliant) to create a true outside classroom experience (drawing from his experience during Covid Pandemic) at Burlington’s Marshall Simonds Middle School for all of the grades to utilize. For the past two years Dylan has been a member representative in Model U. N. through Burlington High School serving in different positions and helping his fellow students obtain several awards. As sophomore student Dylan began taking advanced placement courses and has consistently been placed on the Honor Roll each semester. Dylan is always ready volunteer his time to help others as a student, a Scout, a citizen, and just as a compassionate person. I think he deserves this “Shout out” through Patch.
