The Impossible Hunt For an Apartment

My hunt for a reasonably priced apartment

I never imagined when I decided to sell my house that finding a rental would be so difficult. I made the decision and took the plunge to downsize. I imagined myself in a nice little complex with a pool maybe or a gym, or both! No more snow shoveling for me! Then I started looking and reality set in. The minute you dip your foot in the “pool” the sharks start circling. Every ad you click on prompts ten unwanted phone calls from realtors all over.

The cute little complex I imagined myself in, well that dream died quickly. If I want to live in one of those complex’s in the city/town I want to live in then i’m going to have to make about $150k a year. Sorry but they make it very unattainable and not affordable for the average person to pay rent these days. I would honestly like to meet the person who can afford $4,500 a month in rent (utilities not included). I”m sorry but I think even if I could afford that much I just don’t think I could bring myself to pay that in RENT.

My search will continue, and I will keep you all posted as to my progress. In the mean time, if you know of any good rentals send them my way (stephey410@gmail.com). After i’m settled in a new place The Impossible Hunt will be on for a new car...eeeek.
