Scene Clear After Tractor Trailer Jack-Knifes In Burlington

Officials warned of residual delays after the crash Friday morning.

BURLINGTON, MA - Crews cleared the scene in Burlington Friday morning after a tractor trailer crash on Route 3, state officials said around 8 a.m.

Though traffic was moving, the state Department of Transportation (MassDOT) said drivers should expect residual delays.

MassDOT noted the crash around 7:30 a.m. on Friday after a tractor trailer jack-knifed on the southbound side of Route 3 in Burlington.

The crash took place just before I-95 and prompted lane closures in the two right-hand lanes as of 7:30 a.m.

Lanes had reopened as of 8:10 a.m.
