Ken Gordon Wins SEIU Local Endorsement In 21st Middlesex Race
SEIU Local 509 represents health and human service workers and educators.

BURLINGTON, MA — Democratic state House of Representatives candidate Ken Gordon secured a new endorsement this week from SEIU Local 509, which is a union focused on health and human service workers and educators.
The union announced its endorsement on Tuesday.
Gordon is an incumbent, serving in the state legislature since 2013. He’s facing a primary challenge from local nonprofit leader Timmy Sullivan as the candidates vye for the Democratic nomination in the 21st Middlesex District, which will include Burlington, Bedford and portions of Lexington beginning with this year's election cycle following redistricting.

Gordon has secured previous endorsements from the Coalition for Social Justice and Reproductive Equity Now.
Primary election day is Sept. 6.
