Black Friday shoppers in Burlington who love to shop at Kohl's are in luck.The Board of Selectmen have voted to grant the department store a license to be open for late night shopping on Black Friday.Kohl's will open at 1 a.m. on Nov. 27 and close and midnight the following day. The store's normal business hours are from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. This is the second year Kohl's has applied for overnight hours during the holiday season after the board made it legal under a bylaw three years ago.The board kept the same conditions it put on it last year. It said that if enough stores apply to stay open overnight, the town can assign a patrol officer if it seems necessary. The stores would be required to cover the costs if a detail officer is needed.
