BURLINGTON, MA — Lahey Hospital & Medical Center has officially opened a new Clinical Research Center, designed to expand access to clinical trials for patients in the region.

The center, located at 41 Mall Road, was marked with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on June 17. It will support clinical trials across specialties such as oncology, cardiology and neurology.

“The Clinical Research Center reflects our commitment to advancing care through research,” Dr. Susan Moffatt-Bruce, president of Lahey Hospital & Medical Center, said in a statement. “It’s where innovation, teamwork and compassion will come together to bring new treatments to patients, not years from now, but in real time, right here on our campus.”
