BURLINGTON, MA — A North Shore man was arrested in New Hampshire Tuesday, hours after a reported assault and carjacking in Burlington, according to Burlington Police Chief Thomas Browne.
With an investigation ongoing, Browne said Burlington Police were working to get their own arrest warrant to arrest Joshua Horvitz, 33, of Sailsbury, as of Tuesday around 3 p.m.
Browne said police first responded to the entrance of Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Burlington around 7:20 a.m. on Tuesday. There, Browne said, officers learned a person had been attempting to valet their car when a man identified as Horvitz “allegedly threw the driver to the ground.” Browne said Horvitz stole the driver’s vehicle and fled the scene.
