National Grid Replacing 'Critical' Gas Main In Middlesex Turnpike
The work will take place in the overnight hours for about three months.

BURLINGTON, MA — National Grid will replace what one of their construction supervisors called a "critical" gas main in Middlesex Turnpike from Wheeler Road to South Avenue over the course of about three months.
The company got approval in Monday night's Select Board meeting.
The replacement will increase the size and capacity of the main, work made necessary due to the recent additions to the Burlington Mall. The main also serves Burlington residents.
