Planning Board Approves Temporary Burlington Police Station Move

The Burlington Police Station will move to a temporary facility owned by the town while a new station is constructed.

BURLINGTON, MA — The Burlington Police Station will be located at the Vine Brook Water Treatment Facility for about two years, according to The Daily Times Chronicle.

The Planning Board unanimously approved a special permit and engineering change for the 171 Middlesex Turnpike site in order for the temporary move to go forward.

A new police station on Center Street is being constructed will cost a total of $46.2 million.
