Police: False Letter of Employee Recommendation; Wallet With Credit Cards Stolen at Burlington Mall; Smashed Windows

Sunday, Sept. 27

At 8:08 a.m., malicious damage on Bedford Street. Female reported past damage to a motor vehicle.Rear window smashed; nothing stolen.

At 8:57 p.m.,past theft reported. Reporting party believed that sometime earlier today her wallet was stolen while at the Burlington Mall. The wallet contained three Visa credit cards, Macy’s credit card, Lord & Taylor credit card, $100 cash; license, social security card, and her Medicare card.

Monday, Sept. 28

At 10:22 a.m., malicious damage on Network Drive. Property manager reported four windows were damaged by a rock or BBs sometime during the weekend.

At 2:30 p.m., forgery/utterly/counterfeit reported by walk-in. Male party reported an ex-employee submitted a false letter of recommendation.

At 3:10 p.m., walk-in reported that two credit cards were taken from her wallet at Panera. Wallet removed from her purse while she was eating. Cards were canceled. One of the credit cards was used at Target in Woburn.

At 6:21 p.m., motor vehicle stop in area of Cambridge Street and Wall Street. Citation issued for u-turn violation.

At 8:26 p.m., vandalism on Network Drive reported. Caller reported windows in car shot out with projectile.
