Police: Shoplifting of Over $250 Merchandise From Lahey Hospital; IRS ID Fraud; Warrant Arrest

Tuesday, Sept. 22

At 4:02 p.m., identity fraud on Old Colony Road. Party reported that back in April some unknown party filed federal taxes under her name. IRS was notified the day she was advised (sometime back in April). Subsequently, in August someone withdrew $87 from her checking account and then again on Sept. 2 for the same amount.

At 8:01 p.m., theft of Xbox valued at $180 from the Microsoft Store.

At 9:00 p.m., motor vehicle stop in area of Lahey Hospital and Medical Center. Vehicle towed.

John M. Christie, 44, of Burlington, arrested for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration, subsequent offense; no inspection sticker; uninsured vehicle; and operating vehicle with a suspended license, subsequent offense.

Wednesday, Sept. 23

At 10:512 a.m., shoplifting at Lahey Hospital. Lahey security reports shoplifter took $250 worth of merchandise. Kathleen Bergeron, 59, of Goffstown, N.H., to be summonsed to court for larceny over $250.

At 12:21 p.m., warrant arrest at Executive Park. Richard Blake, 28, of Dorchester, arrested.

At 5:28 p.m., identity theft on Marrett Road. Reports of unknown person who bought cell phone on woman’s account.

These are allegations. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty.
