Residents Encouraged To 'Beautify Burlington' In April
In honor of Earth Day, residents are asked to pick up litter. They can get free garbage bags and gloves from the Conservation Department.
BURLINGTON, MA — The Town of Burlington is asking residents to "Beautify Burlington" this April, and offering supplies to help with that process.
In honor of Earth Day, which is April 22, Burlington is encouraging residents to pick up litter around their neighborhoods.
The Burlington Conservation Department is giving away bags and gloves to residents to use while picking up litter. Residents can get these items at the Conservation Department, located at 25 Center St.

Residents also are encouraged to share photos of themselves and their neighbors picking up litter, which they can do using the hashtag #BeautifyBurlingtonMA or by sending the photos to conservation@burlington.org.
The Beautify Burlington campaign is sponsored by Bring Me to Burlington, a website run by the town's Economic Development Office, the Burlington Conservation Department and Keep Burlington Beautiful, a group that encourages residents to help make Burlington a litter-free town.
