Sporting Goods Store Charts Opening In Burlington

BURLINGTON, MA — Golf Galaxy is holding a three-day grand opening celebration this month at Wayside Commons in Burlington.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be Oct. 24 with a celebration throughout the weekend.

That kicks off a weekend in which customers can win prizes and giveaways. Each day the first 100 adults in line will receive a free Golf Galaxy mystery gift card, with one lucky person winning a $500 gift card.

Golf Galaxy will feature "state-of-the-art hitting bays with TrackMan technology, a putting green, golf services desk, game-changing instruction from a PGA Professional and the best gear from golf’s top brands," according to a statement from the company.

The store's opening weekend hours are 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Oct. 24; 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Oct. 25; and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Oct. 26. The store is located at 6 Wayside Road, Unit 6O.
