Steel Plates Fly Off Truck, Hit Vehicle In Burlington: Reports
A person was hospitalized and highway lanes are closed after steel plates fell off a truck and struck a vehicle, according to reports.

BURLINGTON, MA — Steel plates fell off a flatbed truck and struck a vehicle driving on I-95/Route 128 in Burlington on Thursday morning, according to WCVB 5-ABC.
The accident occurred on the highway's northbound side near Route 3. The panels crushed the vehicle and landed in the southbound side's breakdown lane, WCVB 5-ABC reported.
Aerial video of the scene of the accident showed a vehicle in the left lane on the northbound side with a smashed windshield and heavy front-end damage, according to Boston 25-News.

Highway lanes are closed on both sides so that crews can clean up debris. It's expected the closures will remain in place through the morning commute, NBC 10 Boston reported.
Drivers are advised to seek alternate routes and should expect delays.
