Supporters Rally for Burlington Mosque Hit By Graffiti

Local leaders and supporters are showing their support by painting special messages

Supporters for a Burlington mosque that was vandalized have a message of their own.

They are responding with a rally declaring “We are Americans.”

Two men wrote “USA” all over the walls of the mosque on Halloween weekend. Several eggs were thrown at the building as well. The Massachusetts chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations says the graffiti sends an intolerant message that Muslims are not “real Americans.
