BURLINGTON, MA - Burlington's Family Concert Series will push onward for one more week, the town Parks and Recreation Department announced on Friday, adding a surprise show a week after the previously scheduled final concert in the summer series. Abraxas will take the stage at the Burlington Town Common on Aug. 16 at 6:30 p.m. "Come on down and join us," the Parks and Recreation Department wrote in its announcement. The Family Concert Series kicked off in June alongside a slate of children's performances. The Family Concert Series was set to wrap this week with a finale performance by Grateful Dead cover band Moose Juice. Abraxas will now bring music back to the Town Common next Tuesday, offering a tribute show focused on the rock band Santana.
