BURLINGTON, MA — The Burlington Police Department is seeking to identify two suspects connected to a shoplifting case. Police responded to a LensCrafters inside Macy's at the Burlington Mall on Monday at about 5 p.m. on a report of shoplifting. A police investigation found that one suspect distracted an employee while the other took sunglasses and concealed them in a backpack. The suspects stole about $9,000 worth of sunglasses police said. The suspects are known as frequent shoplifters at the store, but have yet to be identified.
