BURLINGTON, MA - The following is a sampling of log entries provided by the Burlington Police Department. Where mentioned, an arrest does not indicate a conviction.
Tuesday, Feb. 2
2 a.m. - Freeport Drive caller reports motion detector in garage going off. Officers found house to be secure.
2:09 a.m. - Report of a suspicious person at 50 Mall Road. A man discharged from Lahey Clinic Hospital was seen in the area. Same was trespassed from Lahey, and may have activated the fire alarm at 50 Mall Road. The individual pulled the fire alarm to obtain medical treatment. The individual was transported to Winchester Hospital.

7:47 a.m. - Caller from Five Guys Burgers, 43 Middlesex Turnpike reports finding a purse inside the restaurant. The owner picked up purse prior to officer’s arrival.
8:37 a.m. - A post office employee transferring to another location requested an officer because they were trying to get their belongings at the Bedford Street location. Caller said the manager of the old location was refusing to let her in the building. Officers assisted in the exchange.

9:55 a.m. - Caller from CSF Financial Services, 170 Cambridge St. reports fraudulent activity via craigslist. CFS Financial contacted through craigslist regarding an item for sale. It was a scam. No money was exchanged. Complainant wants incident logged.
2:27 p.m. - Two car accident with injuries in the area of Herb Chambers Audi, 62 Cambridge St. One person was transported to Lahey.
3:28 p.m. - Rollover crash in the area of 78 Blanchard Road. Police received several calls regarding the accident. Verizon was also notified for a split pole. Vehicle was towed and driver refused medical treatment.
4:51 p.m. - Loss prevention from Nordstrom, 75 Middlesex Turnpike called to report a past theft of $2,400.
8:15 p.m. - Reports of an erratic driver on Rte. 128 south at Cambridge Street. Driver was issued a warning.
10:16 p.m. - Caller reports a male party thumbing on the wrong side of the road in the area of 68 Lexington St. at Marrett Road. Police placed the individual into protective custody.
10:42 p.m. - Caller from ORACLE reports his wallet was stolen from a gym locker while working out. Wallet contained license, credit cards and cash.
