Woman Arrested for Assault and Shoplifting, Reports of Youths Throwing Things at Vehicles

Burlington Police Department logs for November 9 to 12.

Following are excerpts from the Burlington Police Department log. Note that this is a sampling of activity in the log, not a complete account. We report all arrests included in the daily police log. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Saturday, November 9-

  • At 10:28 a.m. police issued a summons to a Casco, ME resident on a charge of operating a motor vehicle after a revocation of registration. 
  • At 1:58 p.m. a front desk employee at the Hyatt House reported a male party outside the hotel covered in blood. The male said he didn't believe he was assaulted but may have fainted and fell down. He was transported to Lahey Clinic. 
  • At 6:10 p.m. police arrested a Boston man on a warrant from another agency. 
Sunday, November 10- 
  • At 12:13 p.m. a foreman from the Gutierrez Company said a male in a vehicle came to the Keurig project on South Avenue and attempted to take scrap metal out of a dumpster. The foreman said he asked the man to leave and he did. The foreman also requested additional checks on the weekend and evenings. 
  • At 2:57 p.m. police arrested three people (no names given), a male and two females, after Lord & Taylor loss prevention reported detaining three shoplifters. 
  • At 5 p.m. a Sears Street caller reported someone threw a rock at his motor vehicle. 
  • At 6:02 p.m. police arrested Aleethea Francis, 33, of 385 Chatham Street, Apartment 2, Lynn, on charges of shoplifting $100+ by concealing merchandise and assault and battery (two counts). Arrest made after Lord & Taylor security reported a fight in the store. 
  • At 11:07 p.m. a caller at Beacon Village reported youths throwing things at cars driving by. The youths were gone when police arrived. 
Monday, November 11- 
  • At 3:37 p.m. Kohl's security reported a shoplifter fled the store in a vehicle with New Hampshire plates "MAZOBOAT." 
  • At 7:31 p.m. a caller at Burlington High School reported that several youths were throwing eggs and passing vehicles. Police checked the area but did not find anyone. 
Tuesday, November 12- 
  • At 8:51 p.m. an Arboretum Way caller reported her tires were slashed overnight. 
  • At 10:33 p.m. a Baron Park Lane caller reported someone knocked on her door but when she opened it they were gone.
