What Is Roblox World Builders Camp?

What’s better than playing Roblox? Designing and building your own game inside it. Roblox World Builders Camp teaches young creators how to use Roblox Studio to build custom 3D environments, add interactive elements, and bring their ideas to life.

Over one imaginative week, campers transform their concepts into playable Roblox experiences — designing worlds, learning beginner Lua scripting, and testing games with friends in a safe, guided environment.

Camp Highlights

World & Environment Design

Campers learn how to construct engaging 3D spaces inside Roblox Studio:

  • Create landscapes, obstacle courses, arenas, and adventure maps
  • Use terrain tools, parts, and models to build interactive environments
  • Add platforms, jump challenges, and secret areas to explore

Beginner Lua Scripting & Game Logic

Students are introduced to coding through Roblox’s scripting language, Lua:

  • Trigger events when players touch or click objects
  • Make parts move, disappear, rotate, or light up
  • Add basic mechanics like checkpoints, jump pads, or simple power-ups

Game Design & Playtesting

Campers think like real game designers as they:

  • Plan how players will move through their worlds
  • Balance challenge and fun so games are exciting but fair
  • Playtest each other’s games, giving and receiving feedback

Take-Home Projects

By the end of the week, every camper has a playable Roblox experience they can continue refining at home — along with the skills to keep creating new games.

Why Families Love This Camp

Guided by experienced instructors who understand both kids and game design.

Safe, private project environment — campers build and test in controlled settings, not public servers.

Highly engaging for creative and technical kids who love games, stories, or building worlds.

Fantastic entry point into coding, 3D design, and interactive media.
