What Is Mini Robot Adventurers Camp?

What’s better than playing with robots? Building your own robot sidekick and sending it on exciting quests! Mini Robot Adventurers Camp is a gentle, playful introduction to robotics for young learners ages 6–8.

Over one magical week, campers assemble beginner-friendly robots, explore how simple motors and sensors work, and guide their creations through fun daily challenges. With storytelling, creativity, and teamwork woven into each activity, this camp is designed to spark curiosity and build early STEM confidence.

Camp Highlights

Build Your First Robots

Campers use safe, easy-to-assemble parts to build small robots that can move, light up, and react.

  • Kid-friendly components: motors, wheels, LEDs, and simple sensors
  • Hands-on building with lots of support from caring instructors
  • Decorate and customize each robot to match its “adventurer” personality

Intro to Robotics Concepts

Children begin to understand how robots work through play:

  • Cause and effect — “What happens when I press this?”
  • Basic motion — how wheels, motors, and direction work together
  • Simple circuits — lights, power, and on/off control

Daily Robot Missions & Adventure Challenges

Every day brings a new story-driven quest for their robots:

  • Navigating treasure mazes and obstacle paths
  • Crossing “lava” bridges and saving tiny characters
  • Friendly group races and cooperation challenges

Testing, Tinkering & Discovery

Campers naturally learn the engineering mindset as they test, adjust, and try again — celebrating both successes and “happy mistakes.”

Why Families Love This Camp
