Reason for running: Running has been a huge part of my life since college. For me, it has always been great to relieve stress, stay healthy and meet new friends. Running Boston has always been a dream of mine and running for such a great neighborhood charity makes it even more worthwhile.

Charity: Charlestown Lacrosse and Learning Center

Training tip: Running with friends is the best - it helps distract you from the cold, the snow, and the long miles ahead of you. If you have to run alone, I recommend listening to podcasts instead of music because (at least to me) it feels like running with someone who’s telling me a nice long story. Plus you might learn something!
