Electrical Fire at Home in Charlestown Results in Injury of Firefighter
Damages were estimated at $350,000.

A fire was reported at a two-story house in Charlestown on Saturday morning, according to the Boston Fire Department.
Several pets were succumbed at the scene. Two adults and four children were displaced. A firefighter was treated and transported to a hospital for a neck injury.

Investigators determined the fire was caused by an electrical short circuit on a piece of equipment on the top floor of the home.
