This Saturday, April 27 will be the 2013 Opening Day for Charlestown Little League. All players will march in the annual parade to start off the season.
The parade will muster at Hayes Square at 8:30 a.m. All players will meet their coaches in the Harvard Kent School Yard at this time. The parade will start promptly at 9 a.m. and will travel up and over Bunker Hill Street and into Ryan Field in Sullivan Square.
Opening Day ceremonies will take place on the major league diamond and games will commence immediately after.
