MBTA Releases Assembly Square Renderings

In a public meeting Tuesday night, MBTA officials planned to go over details for the construction of an Orange Line stop at Assembly Square.

The MBTA published some renderings of what the Assembly Square trains station could look like when it opens -- target date is fall of 2014.

The Assembly Square stop will be located between Sullivan Square and Wellington. The MBTA has already warned that construction will impact Orange Line riders while construction is underway.

If you're curious for more details, there's a public meeting tonight (Tuesday, Nov. 15) to introduce the project team and go over the construction schedule. The meeting will have a Somerville-centric agenda, but all are welcome. Meeting starts at 7 p.m. at the Capuano Early Childhood Center at 150 Glen St. in Somerville.
