Police Reports: Multiple Arrests for Cocaine Possession

Multiple Arrests for Cocaine Possession

Four people were arrested in Charlestown last week for cocaine possession, as the result of Boston Police Department’s ongoing drug investigations.

On Tuesday, June 4, police arrested an individual in the area of Decatur Street and two people in the area of Old Landing Way. On Sunday, June 9, an individual was arrested in the School Street area. All four people were charged with possession of a Class B substance.

Man Throws Lit Cigarette, Fight Breaks Out

Police responded Sunday, June 9 to the report of a man throwing a lit cigarette at another man and punching him.

A witness said he was walking down Main Street at around 3 a.m. when he saw a male throw the cigarette at his friend and then “punch him in the back of the head,” according to reports. The two individuals began fighting, at which point the suspect used a belt to hit the other man in the arm.

No charges were mentioned in the report.

Indecent Assault Reported in the Navy Yard

A woman reported being indecently assaulted by a man after she met him on Causeway Street and walked with him to the Navy Yard on Saturday, June 8.

The victim described the man as an “east Indian male wearing a red shirt, plaid shorts and black/red sneakers.” The suspect reportedly fled the area after the assault.

Police are investigating.
