Police Respond to Several Break-Ins Around Neighborhood
A roundup of police activity shows a number of residential break-ins over the past two weeks.

These reports were submitted from the Boston Police Department and took place within Charlestown's District, A-15. The time and place of the alleged crimes are listed. Persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
Nov. 27: Willful and malicious destruction of property
As a result of a radio call for vandalism in progress, an individual was placed under arrest for damage done to a taxi. After an argument about paying the fare, the suspect shattered a window and broke the rear door.
Nov. 25: Breaking and entering (residence)
Officers responded to Baldwin Street for a breaking and entering in progress. A description of the suspect was broadcast and as a result of the initial investigation, a suspect was placed under arrest and charged accordingly.

Nov. 21: Larceny
A victim on Old Landing Way reported 10 metal posts were stolen from his job sites. Information was received,providing a plate number of the vehicle used in the crime. The suspect was identified and a warrant will be sought in Charlestown court.
Nov. 21: Breaking and entering (residence)
Officers responded to Albion Place where they learned that someone had entered the building by breaking the frame and bolt on a rear door. This gave the suspect(s) access to the common area connecting the other units. As a result, two of the units were entered and various electronics and cash were taken.
Nov. 19: Robbery (unarmed)
A victim at the rear of Dunstable Street reported to officers that two males and one female pushed her to the ground, punched her and stole her purse. The victim feels the suspects may have followed her from the Community College train station. Officers searched the area to no avail.

Nov. 17: Breaking and entering (residence)
Officers on patrol in the area of Soley Street heard a house alarm going off. As they approached, they observed an individual dart out of the driveway of the home carrying a laptop computer. Officers apprehended the suspect. Further investigation revealed the rear door of the home had been forced open. That, coupled with statements made by the suspect, resulted in his arrest for breaking and entering.
Nov. 16: Breaking and entering (residence)
Officers responded to 1st Ave for a reported break-in. Upon arrival, they observed the front window of the storefront was smashed and the cash tray removed from the register. Physical evidence was recovered from the scene and a possible suspect was interviewed. Detectives will investigate.
Nov. 16: Larceny/shoplifting
A victim on Rutherford Avenue told officers that two males entered his store. While one of the individuals distracted the clerk, the other reached behind the counter and stole 133 scratch tickets. Suspects then left the area in a blue sedan. Detectives are reviewing the video footage.
Nov. 15: Drug arrest
As a result of a drug investigation on Medford Street, an individual was placed under arrest for possession of a Class B substance.
Nov. 14: Larceny
A victim on Monument Square reports that someone stole his black Trek bicycle from the backyard of his home.
Nov. 12: Investigate person(s)
Officers responded to Chelsea Street for a report of kids throwing rocks at cars. Upon arrival, officers observed three males holding rocks in their hands poised to throw them. After a brief foot chase, all three individuals were apprehended. The suspects were all juveniles. Information was gathered on all individuals and parents were notified and picked up their respective children. Complaints will be sought.
