The Suffolk County District Attorney released video of a March shootout in Roxbury that left a Boston police officer seriously injured.
Officer John Moynihan was shot in the face on March 27 after police attempted to pull over Angelo West in Roxbury.

A six-year veteran of the Boston Police Department, Moynihan was honored at the White House last year and received the 2014 Top Cop Award for his response to the Watertown shootout with the Boston Marathon bombers.
Officer Moynihan, who was was initially placed into a medically induced coma, continues to progress in his recovery. He received surgery to remove a bullet from his head.
