WATCH: Roxbury's Jalen Adams With Miracle Shot: 'Are You Kidding Me!?'

BOSTON, MA - The name Jalen Adams is not going to be forgotten around Storrs, Conn., anytime soon.

The freshman from Roxbury hit the shot of the season Friday night, a beyond-halfcourt heave with the clock expiring that pushed UConn into a fourth overtime, where they held on to beat Cincinnati, 104-97.

Adams had less than a second to catch the inbounds pass and release it, something he was to confirmed to have done after video review. The ball banked in off the backboard, and sent the crowd (and the UConn bench) at the American Athletic Conference quarterfinals in Orlando, Fla. into a frenzy.

UConn will play Temple in the semifinals today at 3 p.m.

Adams isn't the only clutch shooter from Roxbury to play at UConn; He didn't grow up far from where Shabazz Napier did.
