$4 Million Lottery Ticket Sold in Chelmsford
It's the second major winning ticket sold by the Chelmsford convenience store.

A Westminster man won $4 million on a scratch-off lottery ticket he bought at a convenience store in Chelmsford.
Kevin Norris is the first winner of the instant win game “$4,000,000 Payout,” which the Massachusetts State Lottery introduced in June.

Village Square Convenience Food Store at 14 Fletcher St. in Chelmsford sold Norris the winning ticket. Norris elected to claim his prize as a $2.6 million (before taxes) one-time payout and plans to invest the winnings, according to a press release.
Norris usually purchased two tickets from the same book, but decided to purchase from two different books on the day he won the big prize.

Earlier this year, the same store sold a Chelmsford man, John LePage, a winning ticket in the lottery’s “$5,000 A Week For Life” instant prize game. LePage also chose a lump sum payout in the amount of $4,000,000 before taxes.
Village Square Convenience Food Store will receive a $40,000 bonus for its sale of the most recent ticket; the store received a $50,000 for the ticket sold earlier this year.
There are four additional $4 million prizes and eleven $1 million prizes still available in the “$4,000,000 Payout” $10 instant game, according to the Mass. State Lottery.
