Chelmsford High Theater Guild Finalist in METG Fest

CHELMSFORD, MA - The Chelmsford High School Theater Guild made it into the finals for the 84th annual Massachusetts Educational Drama Festival.

Come see the talented guild perform on Friday, April 1 at the Back Bay Events Center, Berkeley Street, Boston at 4 p.m.

The students will be performing "Rapiendis Dei," an original play by Eloise Hoffman.

"It is based on the true story of the kidnapping of Edgardo Mortara by the Catholic Church. It is claimed that he is baptised by his nanny as an infant. He was taken at age six, and sent to be converted by the Dominican sisters. His family's desperate efforts to regain custody were supported by many countries," the Chelmsford Theater Guild wrote.
