Chelmsford Police Arrest Alleged Heroin Trafficker
A Boston man faces several charges following arrest at the Radisson Hotel on Independence Drive Friday. A Chelmsford man was also arrested.

Chelmsford Police arrested a man over the weekend for trafficking nearly 50 grams of heroin, Police Chief James Spinney announced Monday. In addition to his arrest, three other individuals, including one from Chelmsford also face charges.
“We see, time and time again, the negative effects caused by the heroin epidemic,” Chief Spinney said. “We will remain diligent in finding and charging these individuals in our community who profit from drug dealing and human suffering.”

At approximately 7 a.m., on Friday, June 26, the Chelmsford Police Department responded to the Radisson Hotel, 10 Independence Drive, for a report of a suspicious male.
Upon entering the man’s room to conduct a well being check, they found four people in the room and discovered multiple narcotics and drug paraphernalia in plain view. They recovered approximately 47 grams of heroin, 12 grams of cocaine, and $2,276 in cash.

As a result of their investigation, police identified Joshua Jefferson, 31, of Boston, as the drug dealer and trafficker. He was charged with: trafficking of A Class A Drug (Over 36 Grams) - Heroin and possession with intent to distribute Class B Substance - Cocaine
As part of the investigation, a man from Chelmsford and two men from Lowell were also arrested:
- Peter Cutelis, 29, of Lowell was charged with Knowingly Being Present Where Heroin Is Kept and was arrested on a Warrant Out Of Lowell District Court for Forgery, Larceny under $250, Receiving Stolen Property Under $250 and Improper Use Of A Credit Card
- Brooke Cutelis, 33, of Lowell was charged with Knowingly Being Present Where Heroin Is Kept.
- Alexis Gewlas, 33, of Chelmsford was charged with Knowingly Being Present Where Heroin Is Kept and was arrested on a Warrant Out Of Lowell District Court
The suspects will be arraigned in Lowell District Court.
