Chelmsford Resident Named Assistant District Attorney
The announcement was made earlier this week by the District Attorney's office.
The Middlesex District Attorney's office now has a face that may be familiar to Chelmsford residents.
Chelmsford resident Wendi Safran was named Assistant District Attorney earlier this week, the office of District Attorney Marion Ryan announced recently.
“Wendi has worked as both a prosecutor and a public defender – experience that will be an asset in handling the day to day duties of an Assistant District Attorney in the busy Framingham District Court,” said Ryan in a press release announcing Safran's appointment.
A graduate of Boston College Law School, Safran most recently served as Legal Counsel to Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America. During her time in that role, the Chelmsford resident investigated possible mortgage loan modification fraud.
“We are excited to have Wendi as part of our team,” said Ryan.
