Chelmsford Residents Serve as Mentors for Nashoba Tech Freshman
Nearly 200 freshman started school at Nashoba Valley Technical High School this week.

Three Chelmsford residents helped welcome Nashoba Valley Technical High School freshman this week as Kick-Off Mentors, or KOMs.
The three Chelmsford residents were Charles Clark, Michael Foley and Corey Henry.

Nashoba Valley Technical High School welcomed 186 freshmen to the school with a two-day orientation led by the KOMs.
KOMs are juniors who are trained to coordinate and run orientation and to act as mentors to the freshmen throughout the school year, helping them to acclimate themselves to the school, and being available at all times to assist and answer questions.

Students are chosen to be KOMs by staff at the end of their sophomore year.
