Chelmsford Teen Dies from Burn Injuries

Teen was burned over 95 percent of his body Tuesday morning.

A Chelmsford teen who suffered severe burns Tuesday morning has died.

The Lowell Sun reported they confirmed with police Tuesday afternoon that the boy died from his injuries.

Early Tuesday morning, hazmat crews were on the scene at 21 Brick Kiln Road where police officials told NECN the adult teen male was found fully engulfed in flames and suffered severe burns to more than 95 percent of his body. The boy was transported to a Boston hospital.

Hazmat crews were at the scene investigating bottles found containing an unknown chemical.
