DPW: Refrain From Spot Saving on Parade Route Until July 2
The town is asking residents to please wait until July 2nd to put your chairs out on the parade route.

The Town of Chelmsford is asking that parade enthusiasts refrain from putting out chairs and any other spot saver objects along the parade route until July 2.
“The DPW still needs to sweep, mow and prepare the parade route for the thousands of spectators that come to visit our spectacular parade,” a message from the Town’s Official Facebook page read. “Any chairs along the parade route prior to July 2nd will have to be picked up.”
It is also a problem for our disabled residents who need to use the sidewalks. All vendor areas on the common will be subject to search on July 3rd and July 4th, along with bags, coolers and personal effects. Parade-goers are asked not to leave any items unattended. Any unattended items will be disposed of by law enforcement personnel.
