Fast-Casual Chain Opens Chelmsford Eatery

Two locations of a rapidly expanding chain have opened recently in Massachusetts.

CHELMSFORD, MA — Fast-casual chain CAVA is serving up Mediterranean-inspired cuisine at two new locations in Massachusetts.

It's two new stores are at 40 Drum Hill Road in Chelmsford and 220 Boylston St. in Chestnut Hill.

The Chelmsford location opened in February, and Chestnut Hill opened earlier this month.

The openings are part of an aggressive strategy, as CAVA has already opened another dozen restaurants this year. The chain plans to open 60 locations this year with a goal of having 1,000 total restaurants by 2032, according to USA Today.

The menu features a range of Mediterranean-inspired salad bowls, grain bowls, and pita wraps.

Last year, CAVA opened a North Andover location at 119 Turnpike St. That represented the 13th location of the chain in Massachusetts.
