FREE Summer Shakespeare Workshop for Teens in Chelmsford!
July 7th - August 15th at the Chelmsford Center for the Arts.

No tunics, no tights, no auditions! Learn the foundations of classical acting and ensemble performance in this FREE Teen Shakespeare workshop This class, led by seasoned theatre professional Shaun Miskell, runs July 7th through August 15th on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 1:00 to 3:00 pm in the Chelmsford Center for the Arts Gallery.
The aim of this course is to create a first-rate performance ensemble, devoted to the works of the William Shakespeare. All actors ages 14 to 18 are welcome, no auditions required. Culminating in a public showcase at the end of the session, this six week workshop is the a perfect way for young actors to hone their craft over summer break.
Registration is open, but the class size is limited, so sign up while there are spots available!

About the Instructor:
Shaun Miskell is an actor, director, teacher and Native of North Chelmsford, with a BFA of Theatre Arts and Directing from Boston University. He has directed and performed professionally all across the East Coast. Credits include: The Library Theatre of Washington D.C. (director), The Chelmsford Summer Children's Theatre (director/actor), The Sunshine Store on WRC-TV (actor), City of Boston SummerThing Jamboree (actor, touring) 1973 - 1975, Chelmsford Summer Children's Theatre (Performer - 1973, Director - 1974 and 1975) The Lab School of Washington (Director of Performing Arts, 1995-2022).
