Police are asking residents to be on the lookout for a missing Lowell woman who wandered away from her home near the Chelmsford line.

The Chelmsford Police Department is asking residents to be on the lookout for a Lowell woman who wandered away from her home near the Chelmsford line.

Elga Crespo, 67, was last seen walking near her Tulip Lane home in Lowell on Sunday night. Her home is located near the Chelmsford Town Line, below the Drum Hill area, according to police.

Police describe Crespo as having moderate mental retardation and the mental functioning of an 8-year-old. Crespo is diabetic and on several medications. She is described as a Hispanic female, 5’2”, 160 pounds with dark hair, wearing a gray sweater along with black and white pants. She speaks Spanish but could be difficult to understand.
