President of Chelmsford High School All Sports Booster Club, Jamie Campo, was shocked by her actions and dismissed her demands. “The entire community has embraced this organization’s legacy of of supporting Chelmsford High School students, the athletic department, and coaches. Our progress comes from our community's generosity, donations from local businesses, families, and perhaps the most valuable asset is an endless supply of labor, fueled by love provided by parental volunteers. The entire event was incomprehensible to me that anyone would file a lawsuit against a non profit organization whose primary goal is to enhance the future of the children in our town”.
The lawsuit will not impede upon the organization's ability to award Chelmsford High School, Class of 2025, fifteen thousand dollars in scholarships later this spring. If you know a student athlete from the Class of 2025 encourage them to apply today.
