'Math with Matthew' Music Video Lands Students on TV

CHELMSFORD, MA -Four Parker Middle School students participated in a music video created by a Chelmsford administrator and their efforts landed them on television.

On Monday, April 4th on the 5 p.m. news on Channel 4, WBZ will air a story on the taping of the "Math with Matthew" music video featuring the students.

Matthew Beyranevand is in his fourth season of created the fun math videos. When he's not dancing and singing about Trig functions he can be found working as the Kindergarten through 12th grade Mathematics and Science Coordinator for Chelmsford Public Schools.

“Providing this opportunity for our students is greatly appreciated. The students loved being involved in the ‘Math with Matthew’ production. I know that all-involved are looking forward to the newscast as much as I am," Jeff Parks, Principal of the Parker Middle School, said in the announcement.

The Parker Middle School students performed in a "Math with Matthew" music video parody called "Girls are all about that math" which is a parody of the Meghan Trainor song "All about that bass."
