Nashoba Tech Hosting Summer Activities

The Summer Experience takes place during four weeks in July.

The school year is coming to a close. But Nashoba Valley Technical High School will be busy over the summer months.

The Westford school, with students attending from Chelmsford and other towns, is hosting The Summer Experience this summer for students entering grades five through nine.

The Summer Experience includes four one-week session in July, lasting from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. During the sessions, children will experience different hands-on programs.

According to school, items on the agenda this year include Automotive Technology, Babysitting Basics, Cosmetology, Robotics, Web Graphics & Design, Java Programming, Computer Animation/Movie Making.

Also at Nashoba Tech is the Summer Sports Training program for children 8-17 years old.

During the program, participants will have the change to play several sports each day, with focus on clinical instruction and group strategy. The sports program runs the same weeks as the Summer Experience, also from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
