Nashoba Tech Names New Superintendent
Contract negotiations are ongoing, so his start date remains uncertain.

The Nashoba Valley Technical High School District will soon have a new superintendent.
Leo DeSimone, currently the Comprehensive, Career and Technical Education (CTE) Department at Somerville High School, has been tapped as the district’s new superintendent, pending contract negotiations.
DeSimone will take the reins from Judith Klimkiewicz, who has been in the position for the past 19 years. She announced her retirement last November.

The Nashoba Valley Technical High School District School Committee selected DeSimone from a pool of three finalists. The other finalists included Denise Pigeon, principal at Nashoba Tech, and Carissa Karakaedos, an assistant principal at Shawsheen Valley Technical High School in Billerica.
