Odor of Pot, Assault on an Officer, Motor Vehicle Breaks: Police Log

CHELMSFORD, MA -

Monday, Feb. 28

• David Davenport, 50, of Chelmsford was arrested and charged with domestic assault and battery. A short time later Danvenport was charged with assault and battery on a police officer.

Monday, Feb. 29

At 9:38 a.m., a report of harassing phone calls was made.

At 10:14 a.m., a resident reported illegal dumping in the area of Pine Hill Road.

At 10:33 a.m., a report came in of illegal dumping of the Sunday Globe.

At 12:45 p.m., a loose dog was reported on Smith Street.

At 3:39 p.m., an odor of pot was reported to be coming from a unit on Sinai Circle.

At 4:05 p.m., a caller from Sinai Circle complained of a neighbor banging on the ceiling.

At 8:18 p.m., an overdose was reported.

Tuesday, March 1

At 8:43 a.m., a tree was reported to be down and blocking the sidewalk on Groton Road.

At 1:12 p.m., items were reported to be missing from a locker.

At 2:41 p.m., a school bus crash without injuries was reported on North Road.

At 5:21 p.m., a possible motor vehicle break-in was reported.

At 6:22 p.m., a male shoplifter was reported. Police arrest Chhandy B. Khon, 20, of Lowell on a warrant for shoplifting. Police also charged him with larceny of property over $250.

At 8:02 p.m., a delivery driver reported finding open doors at Sterling Corporation.

At 8:53 p.m., a heroin overdose was reported.
