Apple picking season is here and after last year’s not so great apple crop for many farmers in New England, this year’s apple picking crop is looking to be one of the best.
This season is off to an early start and is expected to be most active through late October.

Below is a list of some of our picks nearby. In addition to pick-your-own, most orchards sell fresh-picked apples at a farmstand and also have other activities. Take a look:
Hill Orchard
- Where: 2 Hunt Road, Westford
- When: Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
- Details: Pick-your-own apples and hay rides.
Drew Farm
- Where: 31 Tadmuck Road, Westford
- When: Picking daily from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
- Details: Pick your own apples, including Macintosh, McCoun. Empire, Cortland, Golden (Yellow) Delicious ad Red Delicious
Parlee Farm
- Where: 95 Farwell Road, Tyngsborough

- Details: Pick-your-own of more than 20 varieties of apples. On weekends and fall holidays, a hayride to our apple orchard is included as part of your purchase of an apple bag.
