Police Make OUI Arrest After Caller Reports Erratic Driver

Saturday, Sept. 12

At 4:04 a.m., a suspicious bag was left on a set of stairs on High Street.

At 9:59 a.m., a homeless man was reported behind the dumpster on Drum Hill Road.

At 3:23 p.m., a shoplifter was reported.

At 3:43 p.m., a crash involving a motorcycle was reported at Hornbeam Hill and Dalton roads.

At 7:08 p.m., a report of dogs possibly fighting came in.

At 7:51 p.m., a report of an erratic operator near Tyngsboro Road and Gulf Gas came in. Police subsequently arrested Timothy M Callahan, 49, of Chelmsford. Callahan was charged with operating under the influence of liquor, operating a motor vehicle recklessly to endanger and failure to stay in marked lanes.

At 11:07 p.m., a person reported a fight in the parking lot at the America Legion.
