The Rocky Horror Picture Show – 50th Anniversary Screening at the CCA!

CALLING ALL ROCKY HORROR FANS! The Chelmsford Center for the Arts' 50th anniversary screening of The Rocky Horror Picture Show is just three weeks away! Have you purchased your tickets yet?

Join us in the CCA auditorium on Saturday, August 9th for a night of thrills, laughs and rock n’ roll. And this won’t be just your average film screening! Beginning at 8:30 pm, the auditorium and bar will open for a pre-movie celebration. Have a drink, dance and enjoy your favorite songs from Rocky Horror and beyond. Then at 9:30, grab a seat and get ready to do the Time Warp again as you enjoy the movie screening. Tickets are just $15 – less than the price of a regular movie ticket, but twice the fun.

We will also be holding a costume contest during the screening! Get ready to strut your stuff, put on your best fishnets, and show off your spookiest, sexiest, most outlandish Rocky Horror-inspired costumes. Here’s how it works: to register, contestants must pay an entry fee of $4, which will be entered into the cash pool for the first place prize. When you pay your entry fee, make sure you write your name on the signup sheet to officially register for the competition. Once you have signed up and paid the entry fee, a photo will be taken of your costume for the judges review. The winner of the costume contest will take home half the the total cash pool from the entry fees. So, the more people who enter, the bigger the prize! It’s a win-win situation. The winner will be announced at the end of the film.
