Travel Advisory: Lane Closures On I-495 In Westford, Chelmsford

The lane closures will take place Sunday night through Friday morning between the hours of 8 p.m. and 5 a.m.

CHELMSFORD, MA — The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) will be implementing nightly lane closures this week on I-495 northbound and southbound between the Westford and Chelmsford town line and the Route 110 interchange in Chelmsford.

The lane closures began Sunday night and will continue through Friday morning. Work will take place between the hours of 8 p.m. and 5 a.m.

These traffic impacts, which are part of a $5.7 million project set to be completed in August 2023, will allow crews to safely perform pavement milling and resurfacing operations on a 3.4 mile section of I-495.
