CHELMSFORD, MA — The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) announced Thursday that the road closures on Route 4 (Boston Road) and Concord Road in Chelmsford scheduled for this weekend will be postponed due to inclement weather.

Although MassDOT has not confirmed when the work will take place, an advisory will be issued when the dates are decided upon.

The work is part of a $2.3 million project for Intersection Improvements and Culvert Replacement at the intersection of Route 4 and Concord Road, set to be completed in spring 2023.
